Swedish born, London based Hans Berg is a producer and live performer with a strong body of electronic music under his belt. His work as individual has mostly been designed with club spaces and dance floors in mind while some of his collaborative work has also strayed into abstract art and sound design projects; namely, his work with artist Nathalie Djurberg which, via stop motion, sound and immersive installations investigates themes of lust, greed, exploitation and fear.

Hans's next solo LP is a homage to the warm hue of ecstasy; the state of
unbridled joy achieved through solo and social pursuits that resonate with our core character. The project moves through passages of introspective
ambience toward vivid exuberance as it renders the many forms and facets of an ecstatic state of being.

Whatever the stimulus is that segues us toward ecstasy, be it chemical,
physical, social or emotional - the individual ultimately experiences the
resultant enlivened state within the confides of their own body and
consciousness. With that in mind, Hans chose to write with a refined set of
instruments; a limited, distilled set of sounds which he uses to reflect these confides.
This small set of instruments mainly consists of modular synths and drum
machines, the myriad parameters of which, largely dictate the direction of the music which Hans has used to interact with across long stretches of
improvisation. Some post-recording patchwork and a small selection of digital synths / FX work to glue a coherent and transient portrayal together. The result is an abstraction of an internal experience elucidated through
machines.
Humid, gooey pads, snapping electro-breaks, caustic blobs of acid and a
variety of moods / tempos form the sound palette making it a journey with
clear, distinctive chapters while Hans adroit management of sound design
suffuses the project with a certain sharp clarity.

The LP arrives in full on June 16th via his own label UFO Station Recordings
and in the run up to release, Hans will present remixes of selected tracks
which allow Efdemin and Psyk to present their interpretations of "Elevate" and"Sky"

The cover art is shot by Berlin based, Swedish photographer Fofo Altinell,
who has made his interpretation of the music through his manipulated analog photography.
